Bottom Steel and Electrical

05/12/09 | by Admin [mail] | Categories: Bay Water Apartments

52 tonne of steel out of 114 tonne that makes up the strength of the building has been completed in a very quick time frame.

The pour is going ahead at this stage on the 17th December 2009.

This is an amazing photo of the bottom layer steel and the electrical conduits that are required to take all the services through the building.

Walls and Formwork

08/11/09 | by Admin [mail] | Categories: Bay Water Apartments

For the first time, Soberon has had the crane placed in the basement. It has allowed us to perform jobs much earlier than ever before.

Clearly allowing us to building formwork before the entire floor space of the car parks are even completed.

More footings!

03/11/09 | by Admin [mail] | Categories: Bay Water Apartments

We have made very good progress, with the good weather and the assistance of the crane.

We have managed to dig the remainder of the footings and pour the columns, ready for the bricklayers to finish all internal walls..

We can taste the podium slab for Xmas!

Amazing Views

These are the views from the crane. Unfortunately not from the units.. I had to travel a little higher than the height of the building to take these shots. Was a glorious day!

Up goes the crane

On this job, we have decided to put in a full time tower crane from the beginning of the job. We are confident that it will make work much faster, safer and easier.

MICON cranes from the Gold Coast have setup a Potain MC68 remote tower crane.
